Born the daughter of a college professor, my brother and I were not allowed to go to church & Sunday School. My parents divorced when I was 7, which was a great sorrow to me as a child, but my unhappiness and lonliness turned out to be the greatest blessing of my life when that is what brought me to Christ at age 14, while Dr. Lee Roberson was preaching a revival in our church in Tampa, FL, in 1948. I have always wanted to live for the Lord because I was so thrilled to be a child of God, although, unfortunately, I have not always made all the best choices. But God designs circumstances in our lives that force us to make choices, and sometimes wrong choices turn out to be our greatest learning experiences - therefore, my life verse is Romans 8:28-29. My husband, Roger, is the second greatest blessing of my life, and our greatest desire together is to be a blessing to God's people until He calls us home to be with Him throughout eternity.
