Under the teaching of Pastor Jimmy Jones, founder of Christ Central Ministries, this class has been offered each semester since the beginning of CCI. This seminar draws from the extensive experience of Rev. Jones in establishing the many ministries of Christ Central and in counseling countless numbers of people in their Christian conversion and walk.
Under the research and teaching of Jason Conrad, this class will explore the emphases of the Apostle Paul in his letter to the Galatian churches. Professor Jason Conrad has written and published an extensive commentary on this section of the New Testament and has confidently captured the key points of the text. Students will be challenged and enlightened to grow in their understanding of key issues of Christianity.
This class surveys the life and book of Isaiah, the prophet of Israel. The student will be challenged to sharpen their interpretative skills and their understanding of a key portion of Israel’s history. Special emphasis will be given to the popular passages often quoted from Isaiah, including his prophecies concerning Christ and the end of days.
This class surveys the life and significant impact of Martin Luther. Luther’s contributions are noted to have impacted all of Protestant Christianity to date. The class will explore why he chose to found a new Christian movement, what his impact still means today, and how to judge how his emphases should be treated in the 21st century.
This class will introduce students to how people learn. From this knowledge, students will learn theories on how to teach effectively to the learning styles and circumstances of various audiences. Special emphasis will be given to practical applications of significant modern theories of teaching.
