Christian history is a record of God’s hand reaching into the lives of people through the incarnation of Jesus Christ and then the indwelling of His Holy Spirit. Christian history is also a record of what people of faith have done with the knowledge and experience of God at work. The history of the church has much to offer us. It gives us a basis to understand what has happened and how we, as individuals and cultures, have been affected by it.
