As a journalist, I was appalled when I read a totally false account of an event hosted by Christ Central in an article in The State newspaper.  The so called reporter filled the article with innuendo, implying certain things about what a town thought about a new Christ Central facility and people being served there, and even stating some outright falsehoods about activities and desires of Christ Central for the facility.

Studying St. Augustine  this semester at Christ Central has helped me to come to terms with many issues I have, personally, with "religion" and with what I've often thought of as outdated, dry church.  I've known so many people who loved Christ but just hated church!

I just attended my first class at CCI and it was a marvelous experience!

Everyone has a God given mission in life-sometimes several, and one of mine is writing.  Although I usually write magazine articles and books, I've been really enjoying my new writing path, journalism, and the skills it teaches me. I had written news articles before, but that was long ago.  Working for Christ Central has been such a gift, not only because of the new venues I get to explore but also because it enables me to "write the vision down" and to share God's good works with others for their information, and also for their encouragement.
