1 Week Youth Missions
In General, youth interns will gain:
1. Experience in Christian charity and unity at CC Mission Stations;
2. Exposure to Christ Central Missionaries’ testimonies and insights on charity and unity;
3. An emphasis on charity and unity in Bible and Church history studies;
4. Exposure to other Christian traditions in worship and study;
Introduction to CCI.
Specifically, youth interns will:
1. Identify a $500 need in an existing CC Mission Station;
2. Raise at least $500 to address an existing CC Mission Station need;
3. Work two days at a specific Mission Station for which money was raised;
4. Work three days at three different Mission Stations;
5. Listen to the Mission Station director offer personal insight and/or biblical study each day;
6. Listen to and engage in a biblical and historical study each morning offered by an internship leader;
7. Engage in a nightly debriefing led by an internship leader of each day’s events;
8. Listen to the CCI President discuss CCI programming and opportunities for the intern;
9. Listen to the CC Mission President, staff member, or intern leader discuss (1) opportunities for the intern group to apply Christ Central Missions in their place of origin, and (2) opportunities for the intern group to continue their involvement as a group or individually at existing CC Missions;
10. Vacation 1 day at a popular location, if applicable for the group.
