Dates: August 11-15, 2008

by Jason Conrad
This class will introduce faculty, staff, board members, volunteers, and interested mission leaders to the basic philosophy and structure of the organization.
The class will be led by Rev. Jimmy Jones, the founder of Christ Central Ministries, Inc; Jason Conrad, the co-founder of Christ Central Institute; and Barbara Franklin, president of the Christ Central Missions Division.
The class will seek to answer for attending students "why" Christ Central Ministries and Institute exist and function in the manner they do, and "what" Christ Central Ministries and Institute currently do and plan to do. Special emphasis will be given to the two pillars of Christ Central, which are Christian unity and charity, along with the history, mission, and vision of Christ Central Ministries, Inc.
Students are encouraged to prepare for the class by writing their key questions that have come up in their experience with Christ Central so far.
Follow-up:
Following this week of introduction, those interested in becoming a new Mission Station director or in taking on a leadership position in an existing Mission Station will begin a mentorship with Barbara Franklin and the Christ Central Missions Division team.
From this relationship, new Christ Central leaders will learn how to apply Christ Central's philosophy of ministry to accomplish the ministry calling on their lives.
